How to upload your own personal .mp3 file to a playlist on playlist.com
Playlist.com isnt exactly reliable. You'll
notice that files stop working, or even change audio, making your
playlist look like its bullshit. So, if you have an mp3 song on your
computer that you want to stream to your playlist to make sure your
playlist never fails on you, heres what you do:
Step 1: create an account on playlist.com
Step 2: create an account on fileden.com
fileden
will sometimes give you optional surveys. thats to keep that website in
business. You can pass up the offers, you dont have to fill out any
forms besides the first registration form.
Step 3: upload your mp3 music file to fileden. Copy that url.
Step 4: Goto playlist.com search for music. type in anything, and go to the search results.
Step 5: Scroll all the way to the bottom, click on where it says "
Click here if you can't find what you are looking for!"
Scroll
to the bottom where it says "Link to mp3 file. Paste the url from
fileden and submit. It will eventually take you to a page where you
have the option to either test your file, or add it. Test it first, if
it works then you are done. But, if it doesnt work, then you either
made a mistake with the url, or the file was bad.
If you know
for a fact the original file works, and is an .mp3 then there was a
problem with the link. Go back to fileden.com log in, skip the survey,
then at the top, click the files tab. now you will see your music file.
right click, go to properties, a screen will pop up, look towards the
bottom, click the red font that says url. it will pop up another screen
with the url. copy that, then repeat steps 4-5. If it still doesnt
work, check your speakers, and check the file, and try a different file.
